Welcome to The Cyclery workshop and repair and technical Information section. Our workshop is busy for most of the year. This is where you'll find handy tips and tricks, finding the right tool for the job, and examples of unique build projects. If you don't find your answers here drop us an email, there's a good chance we've dealt with it before.

Booking a service

Most people think they need a bike service when something goes wrong (usually after a ride). Depending on how often you use your bike and your style of riding, it’s a good idea to get your bike serviced regularly. We have a superbly equipped workshop and a couple of highly experienced bike mechanics (including a British Triathlon Team mechanic). We’ll be able to pick up any problems, and advise on home maintenance and cleaning, and so on.

If you want to book your bike in for a service, we run a workshop booking system so we’ll be able to give you an accurate drop off/pick up date and time. If you have an urgent repair, we are usually able to squeeze them in. Call us on 01457 879955 and ask to speak with Alex or Alistair.

We do have a few demo bikes and these are available (subject to availability) to customers if they need to get in a mid-week ride. Please ask when you book your bike in.
